US Marshals: Man Arrested In Connection With L.I. Equestrian's Death
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Authorities said a man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a prominent Long Island equestrian has been arrested in Tennessee.
Brett Knight, 45, was apprehended by U.S. marshals at a house in Seymour, Tenn. on Wednesday, authorities said.
Detectives from the Suffolk County Homicide Squad were also on the scene and two handguns were discovered, U.S. marshals said.

No charges are expected to be filed locally. Knight will go through an extradition process on a warrant out of New York.

Knight was wanted for questioning in the Sept. 24 shooting death of Ross Reisner.
Reisner was killed by a gunshot wound at his home in East Setauket. His partner Kevin Murray suffered a graze wound to the arm.
Suffolk County police said last month that the victims appeared to have been targeted.
"The gunfire did not come through the front windows of the home, but the shooter clearly stood in the yard and fired through one of the windows from the yard," Suffolk County police Detective Lt. Jack Fitzpatrick said.
The marshals' release said Knight was traveling around the country on a motorcycle. He was considered armed, volatile and extremely dangerous, authorities said.
"We are very glad of the outcome of this investigation. The Marshals Service and the New York detectives were in constant communication throughout this long investigation and all precautions were taken in the apprehension." Jimmy Fowler, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Tennessee, said in a statement.
It was not clear why Knight, who was Reisner's former tenant, was in Tennessee.
A professional horse trainer and rider, Reisner appeared for decades at the Hampton Classic Horse Show.
