Man Hospitalized After Being Hit With Fire Extinguisher In Nassau County
NEW CASSEL, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police were looking for three men who struck a Long Island man over the head with a fire extinguisher before taking off with his wallet containing $300 in cash.
Police said the 29-year-old victim was walking on Grand Street in New Cassel late Sunday night when he was attacked. He suffered lacerations to his head, left ear and a fractured right wrist. He was being treated for his injuries at a hospital.
