Man Holds Up Bank On Staten Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Monday evening were searching for a man who robbed a bank on Staten Island.
Earlier in the day, the man walked into the Northfield Bank at 385 Bay St. in the Stapleton section of the borough, and passed a note, police said.
The man then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money, police said.
Police did not release additional details on the incident.
Police did not issue a description of the robber, but they did release a surveillance photo. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD.
