Man Faces Weapons Charges After Speeding Stop
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- A Yonkers man, stopped by police for speeding, has more to worry about than a moving violation.
Yonkers police said 34-year-old Lazaro Martinez was charged with driving while intoxicated Monday and taken into custody.
Then they searched his car.
In the trunk, they found a Colt Carbine rifle and two fully-loaded magazines.
As a result, Martinez was facing weapons possession charges in addition to DWI.
