Man Ejected, Killed In Totowa, N.J. Crash
TOTOWA, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man was killed on a northern New Jersey highway this weekend, after he was ejected from his car during a collision and struck moments later by another vehicle.
No other injuries were reported in the three-vehicle crash on Route 80 in Totowa, which occurred just after 7 a.m. Saturday.
Cesar Castello III, 31, of Wayne, was headed west when he lost control of his car, which spun around and went across several lanes before striking the center median, The Record reported. The car then went back across the roadway and collided with another vehicle.
Castello was ejected during the crash and was hit by another vehicle traveling in the left center lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation late Sunday afternoon.
