Man Dies After Being Found Floating In NY Bay
BABYLON, N.Y. (AP) -- Police were investigating the death of a 79-year-old man who was found floating in the water off Long Island.
Suffolk County police said Edward Dalton was found Saturday afternoon floating in the Great South Bay off Babylon.
He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said Dalton was last seen by his wife sitting on a dock. That was an hour and 15 minutes before he was discovered in the water.
