Man Dead, Woman Wounded In Hempstead Stabbing
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found stabbed to death, and a woman was hospitalized with stab wounds, on Long Island Sunday morning, according to a published report.
Hempstead Village police were called around 7 a.m. Sunday to the area near 270 Lawson St. in Hempstead, for a report of two injured people, according to a Newsday report.
Officers found a man and woman in the street, both of them stabbed, the newspaper reported. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was hospitalized and listed in critical, but stable, condition, the paper reported.
The circumstances of the stabbing remained unknown late Sunday afternoon.
