Man Found Dead On Williamsburg Bridge
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found dead early Tuesday morning on the outer roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge.
Brooklyn-bound traffic was brought to a crawl around 4:30 a.m. after the man was discovered with a leg injury on the outer roadway. He was later pronounced dead.
Sources told CBS2 the man was visiting from Austria for a wedding, and was staying with family in Brooklyn. He was in Manhattan on Monday night for a Halloween party.
Sources say the man, who has not been identified, was wearing a costume from the movie "A Clockwork Orange," at the time of the incident.
It was not immediately clear how the man ended up on the road.
Officers shut down lanes and diverted traffic as police investigated.
