Man Charged In 2010 Bronx Murder
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was arrested and charged Sunday in connection with a 2 1/2-year-old murder in a Bronx public housing development.
Robert Calvente, 19, was charged with murder Sunday in the June 29, 2010, slaying of Kenya Midler, 26.
Milder was found shot inside an elevator in a Monsignor E. Roberts Moore Houses building 674 E. 149th St., in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1 a.m. that day.
Further details of the slaying were not released.
Police did not indicate how they connected Calvente to the murder, and said the investigation was ongoing.
