Man, 46, Killed After FDNY Truck Strikes Motorcycle At Brooklyn Intersection
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire truck responding to a call in Brooklyn struck and killed a man on a motorcycle Monday afternoon.
Police said 46-year-old Reginald Brown was riding south on Monroe Street and had the green light, when his Kawasaki bike was hit by the truck from Ladder 111 heading west on Marcy Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Witnesses told 1010 WINS' Gary Baumgarten that a woman stopped at the intersection to give the fire truck the right-of-way when the motorcycle went around her vehicle.
