Maksim Gelman Arraigned In Subway Stabbing Of 3 Train Passenger
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Brooklyn man charged with killing four people and wounding four others during a 28-hour rampage was arraigned Wednesday in a subway stabbing that authorities said came moments before his arrest.
Maksim Gelman said nothing and did not enter a plea as he was arraigned on attempted murder and assault charges.

The hearing was conducted through a video link from Bellevue Hospital, where he is being held. It was limited to allegations that the 23-year-old sliced subway passenger Joseph Lozito with a knife at Times Square shortly before police wrestled Gelman to the ground Feb. 12.
Gelman's lawyer did not comment.
Gelman was already being held without bail on murder and other charges.
Gelman has told reporters both that the case was a "setup" and that his mind sometimes "isn't right."
