Majority Of New Jerseyans Still Approve Of Obama
TRENTON, NJ (AP) - A new poll indicates a slight majority of New Jersey voters approve of President Barack Obama's job performance.
But 58 percent of those surveyed in the Fairleigh Dickinson-PublicMind poll out Monday believe the country is on the wrong track.
The poll found 51 percent of respondents approved of Obama while 40 percent disapproved. That's up from the last FDU poll in October, when 47 percent approved of the president and 43 percent disapproved.
Respondents also were asked about U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, with 31 percent holding a favorable opinion of the Democrat, while 25 percent viewed him unfavorably. Another 29 percent were undecided and 15 percent hadn't heard of him.

The telephone survey of 804 registered voters was conducted from Nov. 15-21 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
