Macy's Herald Square Transforms Into A 'Material World'
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Macy's rolled out the pink carpet on Broadway as they introduced their new "Material Girl" boutique Tuesday.

Madonna is launching the clothing line just in time for back-to-school shopping.
The Material Girl Collection is a collaboration of designs between the music icon and her daughter Lourdes "Lola" Ciccone Leon. Madonna says the line is an extension of her daughter's taste in fashion.
"I always have two reactions when Lola comes into my room with an outfit on," Madonna said. "One is 'oh my god she looks amazing, what incredicle style;' and then my second reaction is 'she's dressed completely inappropriately for school.'"
Macy's Herald Square was turned into a "Material World" to celebrate the launch.
"It's really pretty in there," one shopper told 1010 WINS reporter Juliet Papa. "It's a girl's dreamhouse."
"Gossip Girls" actress and rocker, Taylor Momsen, who is the face of the collection, will perform a special acoustic concert at 5 p.m. at the famed store's juniors department on the fourth floor.
The junior range is available exclusively at 200 Macy's locations and online.
