Macy's Employees Take Part In Clown Class Ahead Of Thanksgiving Day Parade
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- In preparation for the 90th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, more than 400 Macy's employees and volunteers got a crash course in clowning around Saturday.
"Make them laugh, make a connection, and finally let's make some memories," Creative Director Wesley Whatley told the group.
"Today is all about getting folks out of their shell and embracing the inner performer within them," he said.
The employees have a chance to work with professional clowns.
"I love going to the crowd, I love the children, the whole thing," said one woman from Staten Island who was back for her fourth time.
It was on her bucket list, but she keeps coming back.
