There's no denying that Otto, the most casual establishment in Mario Batali's empire, makes great thin crust pizza: the crust is impossibly thin, barely rising above cracker status in its crisp texture and lean countenance. What makes this place a deal? Check out the grande pesci (pictured); priced at $21, it includes one of each of the five small dishes under the "fish" appetizer section - which are each alone $8. If you're alone, this eaten with the crusty bread at Otto will be more than a meal; if you're with friends, this shared with the table will bring many smiles. Don't shy away from the anchovies; house-cured, instead of being fishy in taste and smell, they are simply bursting with vinegary goodness. On second thought, you may not want to share with anyone...

Luke's Lobster aims to bring lobster rolls (pictured) to everyone in Manhattan, and at the current rate of expansion, this goal will soon come to fruition. Taking over the world, one happy mouth at a time, the premise here is definitely less is more, let the lobster speak for itself without covering it up with lots of mayo. Instead, butter is the name of the game here, a sprinkle of celery salt or secret seasoning and you have a lobster roll of beauty for just $15 (size shown here not actual size). Taste summer even as the skies open up around you.

For late lunchers, here's a great deal. May is burger month, and goodburger is celebrating by offering Single for a $ingle Wednesdays! From 3pm until 5pm, go into any goodburger location and all of the singles on the menu will sell for just $1. Get the works on it - lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo, or pick and choose your favorites. Additions are nominal: cheese for 75c, grilled or crispy onions 25c each, and bacon or portobello mushrooms add $2 to the price of the burger. They are limited to in-store only, and a 5 burger/person limit, but don't let that deter you - or take that as a challenge.

The expected location of the truck is 50th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, but as the nature of the truck is that it's mobile, please check Twitter before you head over to try the fabulous "You Make Me Wanna STOUT" cupcake: a chocolate and milk stout beer base, with a milk stout beer and cream filling, and a milk stout beer reduction and buttercream frosting. $1 off Scharffen Berger chocolate coupons will also be distributed to consumers at the truck.
