Long Island Authorities Expand Beach Body Investigation To The Internet
GARDEN CITY, NY (CBSNewYork/AP) - Police investigating the discovery of 10 sets of human remains along Ocean Parkway on Long Island are using a new tool - law enforcement websites.

Suffolk County police say they hope it will provide tips on five bodies that remain unidentified.
The information police are providing the websites includes photos of jewelry worn by one victim and a toddler who may have been her daughter. It also includes reconstructive facial drawings of another female victim.
The remains have been found along the remote beach parkway and elsewhere across Long Island.
Detective Sgt. Thomas Groneman tells Newsday the law enforcement websites allow him to reach interested readers across the country.
Investigators are hoping a tip will lead to the identification of a victim.
Authorities tell WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that one of the sites is www.policeone.com.
In September, authorities released sketches of two of the victims, in hopes of identifying them.
The first of the victims was stumbled upon by a cadaver dog searching for missing Craigslist escort Shannan Gilbert. She has yet to be found after disappearing from an Oak Beach home on May 1, 2010.
