London Police Officers In New York To Help Kids With Cancer
NEW YORK(CBS 2) – Saturday morning, 100 members of London's Metropolitan Police Department, in full uniform, will hit Central Park for a special half-marathon.
They'll be running to raise money for the Jack Foundation or the Joining Against Cancer in Kids.
Detective Sergeant Richard Brown and his wife were both on the police force when their son Jack was diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
Now, the group rallies to help a special child with cancer each year.
The half marathon kicks off at 11am at Columbus Circle.
