Lockdown Lifted At Greenwich High School; No Injuries Reported
GREENWICH, Conn. (CBSNewYork) - A report of suspicious activity triggered a lockdown at Greenwich High School Thursday morning.
Police announced the lockdown has since been lifted.
"This morning, the police department received a report of an incident which required the proactive response of the police department as well as the administration and a lockdown was called," Greenwich Police Lt. Kraig Gray told reporters including WCBS 880's Sean Adams.
According to local reports, police surrounded the school during the lockdown.
"Police responded and have begun the investigation and settled the situation. The lockdown has been lifted, there is nobody hurt and the investigation continues," Gray said.
