TSA: Loaded Gun Found In Connecticut Man's Bag At LaGuardia Airport
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Connecticut man was arrested after allegedly attempting to bring a loaded gun onto a plane at LaGuardia Airport.
According to officials, the Port Authority police officers made the arrest after a .38 caliber handgun was found in the suspect's laptop bag during a Transportation Security Administration airport security check on April 28.
Officials said the gun was loaded with six bullets at the time it was confiscated.
The man, a Monore resident who was not named by police, told TSA officers that he had forgotten the gun was with him, officials said.
Regular airport activity was not disrupted during the incident.
