New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers spokesman Fernando Mateo visited the driver in the hospital Thursday night and called the shooting "crazy and unacceptable."
"We'd like to thank those heroes that held the guy that shot Mr. Lora until the police came to the scene," Mateo said.
