Livery Cab Driver Arrested Following Hit-And-Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A teenager is fighting for his life and a livery cab driver is under arrest after a hit-and-run accident early Sunday in Co-Op City.
As 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported, the 37-year-old driver could face evidence tampering charges.
Police sources told 1010 WINS that the driver had his windshield replaced in the middle of the night.

It's believed the livery driver hit a 19-year-old who was crossing Baychester Avenue in Co-Op City, D'Auria reported.
The teen bounced off the windshield and was thrown to the other side of the street. He was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
"Doesn't sound professional. Very irresponsible," a Co-Op City resident told D'Auria.
The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. The driver returned to the scene a few hours later, where he was arrested.
There was blue painter's tape holding the new windshield in place because the glue had not dried yet, D'Auria reported.
