Little Big Town Earns Praise For 'Tornado,' Covers Lady Gaga During 'Unplugged'
Little Big Town is big in the news this week, and for good reason.
The band's single "Pontoon" has been one of the summer's biggest hits, topping the iTunes country songs chart and also peaking at Number One the past two weeks on country radio charts. This marked the foursome's first Number One hit in their decade-plus recording career.
And today (Tuesday, Sept. 11), Little Big Town's fifth studio album, Tornado, is hitting stores and digital outlets.

Fans are thrilled and showering the band with praises--and some of those fans include fellow musicians.
The Eli Young Band called it "edgy and awesome":
Got my pre-order of @lbtmusic Tornadotonight! What a great record very edgy and awesome. -JY

And the members of Sugarland lent their support as well:

The band is also featured on a new episode of CMT Unplugged. And along with LBT staples like "Boondocks" and "Pontoon," the set list for the show also features a song they've been performing during their live shows on this summer's Changed tour--a cover of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way." You can watch them perform the song on CMT.com.
And if you're not ready to give up summer, then maybe you'd like a chance to win your very own "Pontoon" boat.
