LISTEN: Howie Rose Reports Death Of Osama Bin Laden During Mets-Phillies
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- During the 9th inning of New York's 2-1 win over the Phillies, with chants of "USA!" roaring from the crowd at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park, WFAN's Howie Rose broke what he described as the "globally huge story" of Osama bin Laden's death.
"The crowd is chanting 'U-S-A,' and the reason for that is there are reports circulating -- I'm not sure if they've yet been confirmed by the White House -- that Osama bin Laden is dead," Rose told fans across the Mets Radio Network.
