Lion Cubs Celebrate One Year At Bronx Zoo
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Things that make you go "awww," the Bronx Zoo has plenty of them.
The zoo is now celebrating a birthday of sorts.
It's been one year since Nala, Shani, and Adamma joined the cute crew at the African Plains exhibit. Since their grand debut, the three young African lions have grown to 150 pounds each.

The zoo has experienced a bit of a baby boom. Earlier this month, Terri, the first zebra born at the zoo since 2003, made her public debut.
Last December, Hoover, the first baby aardvark ever birthed at the Bronx Zoo, came out for his close-up.

The Bronx Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can see new friends or old favorites, like the infamous escape artist Mia, an egyptian cobra.
