Lindenhurst Residents Still Need Help 100 Days After Sandy
LINDENHURST, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - Some of the residents by the water in Lindenhurst, Long Island feel forgotten 100 days after superstorm Sandy.
One named Josephine told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that she has not received a dime from her insurance company because they keep telling her she lives in a flood zone.
She said that's true, but they happily took her money every month before Sandy hit.

"I don't know. FEMA said they're gonna get more money. So, I really can't tell you much because it's just crazy," she said. "I just don't understand it."
Lindenhurst resident Jim Gelling said he still doesn't have electricity, but got heat last week. He told Hall he expects to return home by the end of the month.
Still, he suffered about $125,000 in damage.
