Morning Commute Snarled After Crashes On Van Wyck, Lincoln Tunnel
WEEHAWKEN, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A New Jersey Transit bus rear-ended another NJ TRANSIT bus inside the Lincoln Tunnel heading to New York Monday morning, leading to delays.
Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman says that delays of up to two hours were being reported after the accident.

He says that the driver of one of the buses was taken to a hospital, and 14 of the 103 passengers were treated at the scene for not serious injuries.
NJ TRANSIT spokesman Jim Smith said the route 114 bus hit the route 190 bus around 7:30 a.m. Monday.
"It was a hard hit," passenger Mala Mahibir told WCBS 880's Peter Haskell. "I was in the second to last row, so I did feel something in the back of my head."
The center tube reopened after being closed Monday morning, but long delays remained.
NJ TRANSIT buses were subject to delays of up to 45 minutes due to the accident. Buses are not operating on or close to schedule, NJ TRANSIT said.
Motorists in Queens heading to JFK Airport also experienced delays after a crash on the Van Wyck Expressway.
According to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the accident forced the closure of all inbound lanes of the expressway Monday morning.
Motorists were advised to access the airport terminals via the JFK Expressway.
The crash was cleared shortly before noon.
