Lincoln Tunnel Challenge Is This Sunday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - If you've ever wanted to run under the Hudson River then this Sunday morning is for you.
The annual Lincoln Tunnel Challenge will be held on April 28.
It's a 5K race through the south tube of the Lincoln Tunnel. Runners go from Weehawken into Manhattan, turn right around, and go back to New Jersey.
The race, which has been run for over 25 years, benefits Special Olympics of New Jersey.

Race Director Larry Mays said it's no small thing for the Port Authority to shut down one of the three tubes.
The center and north tubes will not be closed.
"The Port Authority has been gracious enough to do this for us and this year we're going to race $250,000," Mays told WCBS 880 reporter Wayne Cabot.
As always, WCBS 880 is a major sponsor of the race.
