LI Stab Victim Dies In Accident On Way To Hospital
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (WCBS 880/AP) -- Police say a Long Island stabbing victim being driven to the hospital died after the driver of the car he was in got into an accident with another car.

Police said two men were stabbed at a bar on North Franklin Street in Hempstead around 2:40 a.m. Thursday. Another man was taking them to the hospital but got into the accident with a taxi.
Authorities got the stabbing victims to the hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other admitted with non-life-threatening injuries. The taxi driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital, and were treated and released.
Police said a pedestrian at the accident scene who was hit by debris was also treated and released.
