LI Man Involved In 2010 Yonkers Murder Sentenced To 25 Years To Life
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) - A Long Island man will spend 25 years to life in prison for driving the getaway vehicle after the killing of a Westchester County woman.
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore says English Thomas of Uniondale was sentenced Monday for his conviction on murder and other charges.
Sandra Hackley was killed in April 2010 at her Yonkers home.
Thomas' two accomplices pretended to make a delivery, then pushed their way into the apartment.
Hackley's husband, Rafael Cornielle, was shot several times and fled to the street.
Hackley was shot five times and died at the scene.
Her 12-year-old daughter was hit in the leg.
The motive was never determined.
The other defendants Charles Parsley and Kasaun White were previously convicted and each sentenced to 75 years to life in state prison.
