Suffolk County Police Sergeant Claims Fellow Officer Sexually Assaulted Her
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A female Suffolk County police sergeant is bringing a sex assault lawsuit against a fellow officer.
As 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported, attorney Vincent White said the most serious incident took place in June, 2014.

White said Sgt. Cindy Olson was alone in an isolated office in the 6th Precinct house in Seldon when officer Everett Wehr walked in and exposed himself.
"He grabbed her arm and there was a physical altercation where he was attempting to force her to fondle him or to touch him," White said. "It was very intimidating for her because he's significantly larger than her."
White said Sgt. Olson reported the incident three months later and when she did, he said the department shrugged it off and there was no internal investigation.
"What she's reporting is not taken seriously," he said.
Sgt. Olson is now on sick leave. Her lawyer said she has post traumatic stress disorder.
The Suffolk Count Police Department said it won't comment on pending litigation.
