There have been disagreements and confusion over the mission of the task force assembled to tackle the future of the arena that is home to the New York Islanders.
One member of the task force even wants to get out.
The disarray comes less than a week after the unveiling of the over $346 billion coliseum blueprint that task force members can't seem to agree on.
Task force chariman Alan Eidler tells Newsday that individual members will now instead submit their own ideas directly to county executive Ed Mangano.
The task force had hoped to come up with a plan to have an increase in seating from 15,000/16,000 to about 20,000/21,000, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reported last week.
Islanders owner Charles Wang has said that without a new or updated arena, he will likely take his team elsewhere.
