Airline Worker At LaGuardia Airport Struck, Injured By Tug Vehicle
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An employee for Delta Airlines was sent to the hospital after a close call with a tug vehicle at LaGuardia Airport Sunday morning.
The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey says the vehicle was backing up around 10:15 a.m. when it struck the worker who was standing behind it.
Port Authority Police and EMS responded and rushed the employee to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
A Delta spokesperson tells CBS2 that "the safety and privacy of our employees remains our top priority as we work to support those involved."
The incident remains under investigation.
