L.I. Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Bus Driver Attack
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — A woman charged with assaulting a Long Island bus driver who refused to make an unscheduled stop has pleaded not guilty.
Ivey Dixon, 27, was arraigned on a second-degree assault charge. Bond was set at $15,000.
More than a dozen Nassau County bus drivers were in court to support fellow driver Keisha McGregor, who watched as Dixon faced the judge Thursday morning.

"I just wanted to see my attacker," she said. "Look her in the face again, one more time."
McGregor was behind the wheel Monday on a Nassau Inter-County Express bus on the Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square when police said Dixon became upset that the bus did not make an unscheduled stop.
As the bus approached New Hyde Park Road, police said Dixon began to beat McGregor repeatedly in the head.
The entire incident was caught on cell phone video.

"She could have had a gun, she could have had a knife," McGregor said. "She could have did anything."
Police said when the bus stopped, Dixon, who had one of her three children with her at the time, took off. She was later arrested following an anonymous tip.

McGregor was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
"Until she's locked up, then I'll say OK, there's closure," she said.
Dixon's family members had no comment as they left the courthouse.
