L.I. Teenager Robbed By Men In Animal Suits
ROCKY POINT, NY (WCBS 880) - Police say this happened in the middle of the afternoon in a shopping center in Rocky Point, Long Island.

They say a 15-year-old boy was punched and robbed of his $1,000 BMX bicycle.
The unusual part of this crime is that the suspects were wearing Halloween costumes.
"Two of them were disguised in gorilla outfits - head to toe, full outfits," Suffolk County Police Sgt. John Best told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall. "The third perpetrator was wearing a chicken costume. It included, you know, the upper body, like yellow feathers and he had a chicken mask on."
Best said the boy had to be taken to the hospital.
"He was punched in, we believe it was the left side of his face, near the eye. He received a laceration that required some stitches," Best said.
