L.I. Beach Club Holds Halloween In July
MALIBU BEACH, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A Long Island beach club hosted Halloween in July for kids who missed out on trick-or-treating last fall.
The typical Halloween celebrations were stolen from thousands of kids last year by superstorm Sandy, which made landfall on Oct. 29.
On Wednesday, hundreds got to belatedly celebrate and go trick-or-treating.

The Malibu Beach Club hosted the ghosts, witches and superheroes.
"So many of the kids lost Halloween, their homes were damaged, everything was destroyed," one mother told WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs. "This year, we really wanted to make it special because of the storm."
The kids said it was the best Halloween ever.
