Ed Koch Leaves Behind $850,000 In Will
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The details of late New York City Mayor Ed Koch's will have been released.
Koch, who died Feb. 1, left the majority of his estate to his sister, Pat Thaler, CBS 2 reported. Thaler and her husband have received $500,000 in cash, along with everything in Koch's Greenwich Village apartment, according to published reports.

Koch also left $100,000 to his longtime secretary Mary Garrigan. And he left $100,000 to the LaGuardia and Wagner Educational Fund to create a program to promote public and government service.

All of Koch's political memorabilia will go to the New York Historical Society.
In all, Koch's left $850,000 behind in his will, according to multiple published reports.
Koch was 88 years old when he passed away. And although he had not served in public office since 1989, he was always known as Mr. Mayor.
