Teams are jockeying for playoff (or lottery) position, and the stakes are high. Naturally, ticket prices for premier large market teams, especially those on the bubble, are through the roof. According to TiqIQ, there are ten regular season games remaining with average ticket prices of over $300. These games certainly stand out on the schedule, far above the average ticket price across the NBA this season of $112.

10. 4/2 - Brooklyn @ New York – Average: $302 Get-in: $69
Kicking off the list is the April 2 Big Apple showdown between the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks. Both squads have been fairly substantial disappointments this year, with Brooklyn currently two games below .500, and the Knicks 12 games below. However, in a weak Eastern Conference, the Nets sit in 6th place, and the Knicks are a short win streak away from being in the playoff picture. This game could very well end up deciding which New York team ends up making the playoffs. Fans are willing to pay handsomely for this Madison Square Garden event, with tickets averaging $302, 170% above the NBA season average.
9. 3/16 - Houston @ Miami - Average: $310, Get-in: $65
In the #9 spot is the Houston Rocket's trip down to South Beach to take on the Miami Heat. Following the acquisition of Dwight Howard, the Rockets have played some fantastic basketball and ascended all the way to the third best record in the Western Conference. They play an exciting, fast paced brand of basketball, and could be a potential finals matchup for the Heat should they make it back for a fourth consecutive season. Miami Heat tickets for this game are currently selling for an average of $310 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $65.
8. 3/22 - Miami @ New Orleans - Average: $317, Get-in: $64
This is the second time, but not the last time, that the Miami Heat will appear on the Top 10 list. While they were at home for #9, this time they hit the road heading to New Orleans for the #8 spot. With LeBron James and company putting together another fantastic season, the Heat are one of the premier road draws in all of basketball. However, at an average ticket price of $317, this is Miami's most expensive road game, and New Orleans' most expensive home game left on the schedule.
7. 4/13 - Chicago @ New York - Average: $322, Get-in: $88
Checking in at the #7 spot is the Chicago Bulls April 13 trip to MSG. Although the days of MJ and Ewing are long gone, this long standing Eastern Conference rivalry is nothing to scoff at. Despite losing Derrick Rose for the season, the Bulls currently sit in 4th place. With this being the second to last home game on the Knicks schedule, and a nationally televised ABC Sunday afternoon matinee, demand is quite strong. Although the average ticket price of $322 only makes this the 7th most expensive game left this season, it has the 2nd highest get-in price at $88.
6. 4/6 - New York @ Miami - Average: $328, Get-in: $74
So far the Knicks or Heat have been involved in every game on the countdown. In the #6 spot, they meet each other. Despite a disappointing season thus far for the Knicks, they actually were able to knock off Miami at home earlier this season. At an average price of $328 dollars, this game holds a 193% premium over the NBA league average.
5. 4/15 - New York @ Brooklyn - Average: $330, Get-in: $53
In the #5 spot we have another iteration of the battle for New York. Taking place about two weeks after the #10 game on this list, this is the second to last game of the regular season for both teams. Naturally, with both teams on the playoff bubble, the stakes will be even higher this time around. While the earlier matchup on this list between these two teams was a Knicks home game at MSG, this time around they will square off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. At an average price of $330, this is the single most expensive Brooklyn Nets home game remaining on the schedule.
4. 3/16 - Dallas @ Oklahoma City - Average: $344, Get-in: $61
Finally-- An entrant on this list without the involvement of the New York Knicks or Miami Heat. This March 16 Midwest showdown between the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder checks in as the 4th most expensive game remaining this season. It is the only game on this list that doesn't have a New York team or the Miami Heat involved. With Dallas clinging to the 8 seed in a loaded Western Conference and Oklahoma City looking to maintain the best record in the NBA and lock up home court for the playoffs, both teams figure to have plenty to play for when this date rolls around.
3. 4/11 - Indiana @ Miami - Average: $373, Get-in: $104
Back to South Beach for the #3 game on our list, as the two runaway favorites of the Eastern Conference face off for conference supremacy and potential home court advantage for the conference finals. While the average price for this game of $373 is a whopping 233% above the league average, it is the get-in price of $104 that is most impressive. This lofty get-in price is the highest such figure remaining on the schedule across the entire NBA, and with good reason. Last season, these two teams met in the Eastern Conference Finals, where the Pacers pushed the eventual champion Heat to 7 games. Ultimately, home court helped the Heat prevail. Currently the 1 seed, the Pacers are looking to reverse last year's result this time around.
2. 2/22 - Brooklyn @ Golden State - Average: $397, Get-in: $37
Checking in at the #2 spot is Brooklyn's trip out to the Bay Area to take on the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena. Indeed, the Brooklyn Nets have strong ties to the Bay Area. Head Coach Jason Kidd hails from San Francisco, while star forward Paul Pierce grew up balling on the streets of Oakland. On February 22, they will be returning home to take on Mark Jackson's Warriors squad. Kidd and Jackson actually faced each other numerous times over their lengthy playing careers, and ended their careers ranked 2nd and 3rd all-time in assists. While the $397 average price tag for this game is the 2nd highest price of all remaining games this season, the get-in price of $37 is actually the lowest such figure on our top 10 list. Fans eager to see these hometown stars return to the Bay Area can take advantage of this opportunity to see a premier priced game on the cheap.

At #1 on our list, it's the Golden State Warriors against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. In our #2 game, it was Brooklyn head coach Jason Kidd returning home to take on Jackson's Golden State squad. This time around, it's Jackson returning to his hometown of New York to take on the Knicks. Jackson was drafted 18th overall by the Knicks out of New York's own St. John's University, where he attended following a standout high school career at Brooklyn's Bishop Loughlin Memorial. Jackson spent the first six seasons of his career as a Knick, before returning to New York for another two seasons later in his career. With an average price of $404, this game has a ridiculous 261% premium over the NBA league average this season. It is the only game remaining on the NBA schedule with a price tag above $400.
