Knicks' Stoudemire On Roster For World All-Star Classic; No Carmelo?
NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- Organizers say Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade are expected to headline the World All-Star Classic in Puerto Rico on Sunday.
According to a press release, the exhibition also will feature Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire, Blake Griffin, Carlos Boozer, Chris Kaman, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Kevin Love, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Tyson Chandler.
NBA players -- most notably Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and LeBron James -- have taken part in many charity exhibition games across the country during the lockout.
So why not include the big three?
According to NBA insider Chris Broussard, the trio has decided to skip the game "to spend more time with their families."
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to various charities on behalf of the players and the event.
Should 'Melo take part? Sound off in the comments below...
