Knicks Head Coach Mike Woodson Confirms Melo Will Not Play Vs. Raptors
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will not play in tonight's game versus the Toronto Raptors according to head coach Mike Woodson.
Woodson confirmed to reporters before Friday's game at Madison Square Garden that Melo will not suit up on Friday. In addition, Woodson said that Anthony is unlikely to make the trip to Toronto for Saturday's game.

Melo has been hampered by a lingering ankle injury.
Anthony last played in the Knicks' 103-98 win over the Orlando Magic on December 23. He missed the Knicks' Christmas Day 123-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Woodson also confirmed that Raymond Felton will miss Friday's game and is also considered to bea day-to-day. Felton is recovering from a groin injury.
The Knicks' head coach also indicated that Iman Shumpert and Metta World Peace are considered game-time decisions for Friday's game against the Raptors.
