Knicks Star Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James And Chris Paul On Same Team? Yep, And It's Happening Tuesday
NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — The NBA lockout and a reported case of elbow bursitis isn't about to keep Knicks star Carmelo Anthony off the court.
He'll join fellow NBA All-Star Chris Paul for a game in Baltimore on Tuesday.
Oh yeah, LeBron James is also set to join the Melo League squad.
"I'm in," James said Sunday.
Anthony's squad will take on a team of Goodman League players, featuring Kevin Durant.
The game is perhaps the biggest yet in a series of summer exhibitions featuring players who are waiting for the NBA lockout to end. Durant has been at the center of many of those matchups, scoring 66 points one night at NYC's famed Rucker Park and later leading Washington's Goodman League to a 135-134 victory over the Drew League from Los Angeles.
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to charities that Anthony is involved with.
