Batman, Star Wars, Superheroes Among Top Halloween Costume Picks For Kids
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Halloween is just five days away, and if you haven't chosen a costume yet, you're in luck.
CBS2' Alex Denis shares some of the hottest costume ideas flying off the shelves this season.

Kiss the princess goodbye -- this Halloween, kids are trading in their crown for capes.
For the first time in 11 years, princesses haven't reigned over the top costume spot, according to a survey by the National Retail Federation.
Rounding out the top five are animals, Batman characters, and Star Wars-themed costumes.
But kids aren't the only ones planning on dressing up. Expect to see milennials looking like someone from the Batman universe -- inspired by this summer's newest DC superhero movie "Suicide Squad."
The witch puts a spell on adults over 35.
Most who celebrate Halloween -- around 67 percent -- plan on buying their outfit, and it probably won't come cheap.
In total, Americans are expected to spend $3.1 billion just to get their Halloween costume just right.
