Keith Urban, Others Congratulate Little Big Town For 'Pontoon'
"Mmmmm….motor boatin’" is one of those catchy lyrics that can quickly get stuck in your head, and it's one of the reasons that Little Big Town's country summer hit "Pontoon" was recently certified platinum, indicating it has sold over one million copies.
The first single from the band's upcoming album Tornado (available September 11), “Pontoon” also reached Number One this week--the first ever chart-topping song for the group.
Among those congratulating Little Big Town on their career milestone was Keith Urban, who posted a personal message and video:

Since hit songs get stuck in fans' heads all the time, do you ever wonder if the the same thing happens for the bandmembers...with their own songs? During an interview this week on Detroit station WYCD, the Dr. Don Morning Show asked Little Big Town exactly that question. And, they wondered, if the answer is yes, which song is it? Almost uniformly they answered “Pontoon.”
"Last night I could not sleep, and 'Pontoon' was in my head," said singer Karen Fairchild.
