The Rangers ended what started off as a terrible start to their play at home with a win over the Sharks that led to Joe Thornton calling the Rangers "soft" and to John Tortorella responding with some choice words.
The Rangers continue their six-game homestand with games against the Ducks, Canadiens and Jets before heading back on the road to Ottawa to face the Senators.
