With the Rangers trying to separate themselves from the middle of the pack in the Eastern Conference, the Blueshirts dealt Michal Rozsival for Wojtek Wolski following a season-ending knee injury to Alexander Frolov. However, the Rangers' first game with their added offense resulted in a 2-1 loss at home to the Canadiens.
The Rangers face the NHL's best with the Canucks coming to Manhattan on Thursday night. After going against the top team in the league, the Rangers play the Canadiens again, Flyers and Maple Leafs before finishing up January with a favorable schedule against the Southeast.
