Karl Rove Clarifies Remarks Which Suggested Hillary Clinton May Have Suffered Brian Damage
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) - Hillary Clinton spoke Wednesday morning to the American Jewish Committee's global forum in Washington.
Clinton discussed solidarity with Israel, the Mideast peace process and Iran's nuclear program.
She did not respond to comments made by Republican strategist Karl Rove.
Rove has come under fire for a remark he made about Clinton having brain damage from a 2012 blood clot, 1010 WINS reported.
Rove has since told the Washington Post "of course she doesn't have brain damage," but that he thinks she needs to be more forthcoming about the events in Benghazi.
"I didn't say she had brain damage. She had a serious health episode," Rove told the Fox News Channel. "My point is that Hillary Clinton wants to run for president, but she would not be human if this didn't enter in as a consideration. And my other point is this will be an issue in the 2016 race whether she likes it or not."
Clinton has spoken at the AJC on three previous occasions, as first lady, senator and secretary of state.
