LISTEN: Jets' Quincy Enunwa Discusses His Hot Start To Season
NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa is standing out. And on an offense stocked with talented skill-position players, that's saying something.
If he keeps it up, this will prove to be the third-year player's breakout season. Through two games, Enunwa has 13 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown. Last year, he had 22 catches for 315 yards and no scores.
"I think, especially when you're on a team with this many playmakers, just being able to do what I've been able to do so far is good," Enunwa told WFAN's Mike Francesa on Tuesday. "I just want to be able to find a way to continue to make plays any way that I can."
The Jets' offense also includes Pro Bowl running back Matt Forte, All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall and wideout Eric Decker, who has had 1,000 yards three of the past four seasons.
Enunwa said he's learned a lot from Marshall and Decker.

"I think the biggest thing (he's learned) is patience and attention to detail," Enunwa said. "Last year, I really rushed things. I wasn't really patient. I wasn't really honed into the details. And so this year, I'm really making sure that I know what I'm doing out there, and that's the biggest thing that I've done so far is just to be confident in what I'm doing and know what I'm doing out there is helping me play so much faster."
