It's time once again to take a look at the best and worst stories on the NY/NJ sports landscape:
THREE UP
1. Todd Bowles
Really great to see the Jets' head coach is healthy after hearing news he had a tumor removed.
2. John Tavares
The Islanders' captain has 22 points in his last 21 games. He's surged over the second half of the season.
3. Mets
Pitchers and catchers have reported, players have made their way down to Port St. Lucie and Yoenis Cespedes has some cars that are worth more than entire countries. Early predictions have been positive. Good stuff.
THREE DOWN
1. Yankees' Business Ops
The decision to eliminate print-at-home tickets has been met with significant opposition, and for good reason.
2. Knicks
Reports continue to surface that players are growing tired of the triangle offense. Judging by the team's recent performance on the court, those reports appear to be accurate. They've lost nine of their last 10 games.
3. Antonio Cromartie
Cromartie was let go by the Jets on Monday, approximately one year after he signed a four-year, $32 million contract. He had an inconsistent season and wasn't worth the $8 million Gang Green will now have freed up to improve the roster.
