Jets' Cromartie Blasts Tom Brady: '--- Him!'
NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- The "personal" hits keep coming from Rex Ryan's New York Jets.
The Jets head coach set the tone earlier this week, calling out New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his on-field antics and his decision to attend 'Lombardi' on Broadway, rather than watch New York defeat the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night.
Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie added to the attack against Brady on Tuesday.
Speaking with the New York Daily News, Cromartie said the Jets "don't give a damn" about Brady, and the QB's on-field finger pointing shows "the kind of guy he is."
That was just the beginning.
When asked what kind of guy Brady is, Cromartie seethed, "an a------."
"---- him," the Jets cornerback added.
"That's what I think about him. I don't really give a damn about him," said Cromartie. "I don't have to play against him. I play against the receivers."
Ryan, speaking with New England reporters during a conference call on Wednesday, said he won't crack down on Cromartie for the remarks.
"In this country, you're allowed to have opinions," Ryan said. "Am I going to punish Antonio Cromartie? No."

Brady responded to Cromartie's comments on Wednesday at Gillette Stadium.
"I've been called worse," Brady told reporters. "I'm sure there's a long list of people that feel that way."
Brady took a rare swipe at the Jets last summer, saying he hadn't watched "Hard Knocks," the television show about New York's training camp, because "I hate the Jets."
The Jets and Patriots will square off in the AFC Divisional Round on Sunday in Foxboro.
