Jets Cornerback Josh Thomas Has Playbook, Passport Stolen
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — New York Jets cornerback Josh Thomas says on Twitter that his playbook and passport have been stolen, and he has made a public appeal for the items to be returned.
While Thomas didn't say where or when the theft occurred, a Jets spokesman confirms Monday that Thomas' team-issued tablet — on which his playbook is stored — was stolen in New Jersey. Thomas was with the team but inactive for the Jets' 16-11 victory over the Titans on Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee. The Jets flew back to New Jersey after the game.
Thomas is working with police, the team said, and the Jets have remotely erased the playbook information from Thomas' tablet.
Thomas has appeared in just one game for the Jets this season, recording two tackles.
He played three games for the Seahawks earlier this year.
