Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves Behind 9 Damaged Cars In Jersey City Rampage
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A hit-and-run driver let behind nine damaged cars during a rampage through Jersey City.
Police don't know how it happened, but residents said the area around Neptune Avenue is a popular shortcut for 18 wheelers even though truck traffic is prohibited.
"Scary. Didn't know what was going on. It's like a movie," one resident said.
Police had to tow away two of the damaged vehicles immediately because it was too dangerous to leave them in the street.
